Adventures as defined by the dictionary is 'an unusual, exciting, and possibly dangerous activity, such as a trip or experience, or the excitement produced by such an activity'. Now, I may have not done anything dangerous in the last week, but you can still have adventures right.

There was nothing daring or possible dangerous activity occurring, but visiting a little country shop and seeing a few animals is definitely an unusual day. A normal day would certainly not mean going to a country shop and seeing llamas (I think), admittedly I do tend to see swans, ducks and the odd rabbit on my walk to and from campus, but thats different. A stop for tea and cake, no a toasted teacake with of course Tiptree Jam (an Essex thing), while browsing the furniture and cute decor accessories, this was something out of the ordinary from day to day university work.

Now this again isn't very adventurous in terms of the definition, but there is still something quite exciting about catching up with friends and having a great time with food (and a couple of drinks). The squad (aka the people I went to school with, and yes most of us still stay in contact nearly a year after officially leaving school/sixth form) went for a carvery at Toby Carvery back in Clacton, as most of us are still there or have moved away but still near home. I was very disappointed that the restaurant had no cheesecake left, so I had profiteroles  instead, but I still want the cheesecake. Afterwards, we all went for a quick walk along the seafront before deciding it was actually to cold, and then we ended up at a pub. We actually decided to sit outside, but it was okay because of the outside heaters. We had a good all catch up, discussed and had a laugh about old memories while we had some drinks (except for the drivers). Somehow we also ended up at Macdonalds, as someone wanted a Big Mac. Wild. It was just such a nice evening with everyone.
